We got rid of the mole, the ants... but of course, another obsticle has to come, and its a cute little rabbit :mad: . He's been eating our bannana peppers and who knows what ealse he's gonna eat later on. But just now i coverd one of his two escape routes. Both are holes under the fence. We tired scaring the crap out of it. It returned. And now hopefully the metal lining under the fence keeps it out. Not to long ago, my dad and i tried to catch it and take it to another place, far away, and let it go. We tried to scare it into a big leather bag, but it found the smallest way out and got out through there. Maby something ealse can help? :madeuce:

Havaheart live trap! It will catch animals alive and it is easy to relocate them. Search for them and find a vendor near you.
 
What about the fake owl thing that is supposed to scare rabbits, it seems to work at the malls, :roflmao:

It is easy in theory to say share but, I don't like sharing my garden with anything that wants to eat what I can eat. Hopefully it's a male rabbit and it won't bring a friend.
 
Plant marigolds around the borders of your garden. Rabbits can't stand the smell of them! That and a good Jack Russell, Labrador retriever, huntin' Beagle...... get where I'm going with this????;-)

Put a fence around the garden. Buy some post and stretch some chicken wire around it. Dig a small 2-4 inch trench all the way around to put the wire down in. This way he can not dig under it real easy. Actually, what I did to keep some of the back yard turtles from getting my strawberries. I border the garden with landscape timbers (2 high). I then put up chicken wire around the border and tacked the chicken wire to the timbers. So far no box turtles or rabbits have made it in this year. I do miss catching the turtles with red lips in the back yard.

Marigolds work good to. In FL they also use onions planted on the borders of gardens to help prevent critters from raiding them.
 
Thanks! Im going to do that, Buzzard. Hopefully it wont cost much. But i seriously dont want to trap the rabitt because i know its going to get away somehow. Thanks again you guys!
 
Awww! I second the live trap method. They're relatively easy to get ahold of and let you relocate the bunny easily.
 
I would shoot and eat the little guy... You know what it has been eating... And rabbit tastes really good.

I used to keep pet rabbits, but man are those the most destructive pets. They really love their leafy greens, but they will eat anything. One of my rabbits ate a pack of gum THROUGH a pair of my jeans. She also loved to eat the wallpaper off of the walls. Grr.
 
Jackrabbit. I honestly would just sit outside and wait for it to come around, then shoot it. Eating it is an option.

But I honestly don't think you want to do that. Perhaps a good fence, and marigolds.
 
You know where it's burrow is? I've heard a mothball down a burrow or under a porch will flush out a lot of diff animals.
 
You may be able to check your local humane society. Some will loan out live traps to people for a small fee. Otherwise the marigold route or chicken wire I'm sure will do the trick.
