hi my snake is gettin bigger and i just got alot of money so what size tank should or need to get and whats the normal age for breeding

for a single cornsnake, a 20-gallon long tank should work. Make sure that you have a under the tank heater at one end, hides at both ends and a fresh water dish.

As far a breeding goes, I think the consensus is not to breed unless the female is heavier than 300 grams. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong on this point.

yes - above 3 ft and 300g are commonly stated views on minimum sizes for breeding

as for tank - I use 36 x 28 x 18 for all my adults

I have heard that the male really does not need to be any particular size, just at least a year old???

Can someone help?

If he is old enough to know what to do (without being eaten in the process) they he is old enoug to be breeding. ;)

The one thing to be aware of is that younger males may not be as fertile as an older and fully developed male corn.
