My wife finally came out and said what I had been suspecting all along... At first she wanted me to think that she hated snakes....lol, but yesterday she said "Snakes fascinate me." We were watching Gypsy drink after we moved the snakes into the office, the other room we had them in was getting way too cold.. The house would be about 74 but that room stays at about 68, I was not happy when I found that out and moved them to the porch until we could figure something out...

LOL, yeah I was pretty surprised to hear her say that... Especially since I swindled her into getting a snake...LOL, I got Gypsy and told Abby that Gypsy was her snake...LOL...

Is she afraid of them, or does she kind of like them/will handle them?

I am scared to death of tarantulas, but they fascinate me. I love the way they look, but I'm scared to touch them.

Geez, what a dramatic lead up. By the way you played out the story, I thought that maybe she had fallen in love with someone else's collection, lol.

She was a little stand offish when I first got them but she will hold Gypsy. She stays away from Cleopatra since we were helping her shed a month ago and Abby got bit. Right between the pinky and ring finger... Almost exactly where I got bit my first time when I was in highschool...lol

 I've pretty much had the same thing happen with my mom. She's not too keen on me having snakes, but the first dozen or so times I fed my first corn she wanted to watch. And then with the BPs, she said later the night I got them, "I like your new snakes!"

Abby cant stand to watch the snakes eat. She has a softer heart than I do, so I don't push the subject.. I just guess living on a farm my whole life I got used to the raise for food and taking care of what needed to be done to animals. She was pretty sheltered and I know once I finally get a farm of my own, it may take years but she will understand why I am the way I am...
