Hybrids and Such

Just wondering, how are genetic mutations passed on in hybrids, are they carried on the exact same allele in different species, and breeding, say, amel corn and cali king would give amel jungle, etc.? and how does the pricing go for them? A couple of the ones i've seen look stunning and I was wondering how they did.

It's all about trial&error.
I know that hybrids were successfully implanted the amel gene by using the Amel gene from the Ruthveni kingsnake and Nelson's Milksnake.

I haven't see any amel jungles though

Trial and error sounds like a good answer to me also lol We had jungles from a normal corn X normal cal king. Then this year I proved my normal corn to be het motley and hypo. Luckily for me I have 2.2 of my jungles left after selling a few so next year or two I'll hopefully be able to if they are compatible with hypo and motley. They are all 50% het I think (hope:)) We'll see!
