Lynnea
That's "lin-NAY-ah"
Foothills Herp Society, that is! We had 20 "members" show up for a 'show & tell' meeting, and it was great! We're planning to go field herping this month, and hopefully Jeff Mohr will be able to come up in October to do his show at FENCE (Foothills Equestrian & Nature Center), which is partnering with our group to advertise and promote. It's an ideal place to meet, too.
Anyway, from CS, we had Rayna (Faery) and Daniel, Mathew (Zeewhiz) & Lisa Kay, and Dick Dueul. Also joining us were several families with small children, and I was delighted! We want to make this an educational group, too. As you can see, we had a nice variety of snakes (and a chameleon).
If you're in NC/SC and want to join, just go to www.meetup.com/FoothillsHerps/ and sign up for free.
