Creepy Crawly Critter Cake!

I can't believe my baby boy turned seven this week! He wanted a creepy crawly critter cake for his birthday, and I had fun making one for him. Before making this cake, I had no idea how many gummi critters they make. Here is a picture of his birthday cake, complete with gummi snakes, turtles, geckos, frogs, worms, snails, bugs and slugs. Yum!

It's not only cute, but I love the bright colors! As for your son--well, they just don't make them any more adorable than an little boy with a missing tooth :). Wish your little guy a very happy birthday from me :).

Thanks for your nice comments, everyone! It was super easy to decorate, and I think everyone liked it better than much fancier ones I have decorated with frosting. Maybe I'll just decorate cakes with gummies from now on!
 
Cool! You know what else would be cool...A chocolate layer cake (looks like earth) with snakes poking out from the layers!!
