(but we already know that Edward sparkles)

currently i'm about 2/3 of the way through "From the Corner of His Eye" by Dean Koontz. WEIRD novel for sure!!

I just read "Wicked Appetite" by Janet Evanovich... It was a really good book, but probably more for women than men. ;)

I just finished reading my first Kurt Vonnegut book recently. Breakfast of Champions. I loved it, and would recommend reading it. Some people may find it to be "weird", but it was very good. Up next will be either Slapstick or Slaughterhouse-Five by the same author. (Probably the latter)

I got two books going on.

First the Legacy of the Drow by R.A. Salvaore

Second Ranger's Apprintice - Halt's Perl by John Flanagan

The first book has Drizzt a Dark Elf, Drizzt80 and mod on Week in Review got his name and avatar from it. The second is the nineth book in a young reads series that is a good read.

If you like fantasy I suggest Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I just finished the first two books in a week and a half. Right now I am trying to get into Dragon Ships.

I would read one to two books a week.. ..until I started college. I am taking 5 classes so I have no time for pleasure reading. :(

I just started "Worst Case" by James Patterson. My mom just bought 3 of his books from Costco. Ever since he started co-authoring he has been publishing several books a year, hard to keep up.

I guess I am lucky. I am taking 5 classes and read in what little free time I have... Even though in that free time I should be writing my 5-7 page Genre analysis paper.... Luckily it is on the Fantasy genre and I can use the books I am reading for it...lol

Unfortunately I could only afford to buy the first two books..lol... I can't wait to get a job so I can afford to go to the movies and buy books, and possibly another snake....maybe...

I know how it is. My friend and I swap books it makes things easier. Also half price books is my friend!

The Mockingjay Series. I know it's for young adult but so was Twilight. I finished the last book off 24 hours after it's release. The author must have a tormented soul. Her previous series, Gregor, was dark as well.
I'm presently winding my way through the Parker novels, Spenser, Jesse Stone and Sunny Randall. It's light reading but a fun world to visit. I read a lot and pretty much any genre. Two or three books a week plus anything else I can get my hands on. It's fun to learn new things or escape to other people's minds for awhile!

The last book I read was Lost Empire by Clive Cussler. One of my favorite authors and I got to meet him and get this latest book autographed while I was in Phoenix. I own ever novel he has written or co-written. Books are kind of like Indiana Jones meets James Bond but all with a nautical theme.
If anyone saw the movie Sahara a few years back with Penelope Cruz and Matthew McConaughey - that was based on one of his books. Action/adventure with history and mystery thrown in.

Hey Outcast,

Go to a used book store and look for The Mars series by Edger Rice Burroughs the first book is A Princess of Mars. I guarantee you will love the series. You have to go to a used book store because they where last printed in the early 70's and the most I have paid is 3 dollars for one.

To bad you do not live close to me have all the Percy Jackson series and I would loan them to you.
