Lizard Id - Trying To Help Out A Craigslister

Patients took over asylum
I was doing my usual CL browse before work and saw a post about a lizard that needs id-ing. I think it might be a young frilled dragon but wanted opinions from some more experienced people. The picture is terrible and I've asked for a better one. I don't know if the person will answer back, but if so I wanted to at least try for some feedback.

Here's what the post said:

my son brought this dragon home without finding out what sort of dragon he is , he does not look like bearded dragon can anyone tell me

And the picture:

I don't think it is a frilled. I looked up hatchling pics and they seem to have very distinctive facial markings, which do not include white lips. The lips almost make me wonder if it is a Brown Basilisk. That would also explain what looks like a white stripe going down the back in that photo.

The things you are seeing as white lips and a white stripe look like a light reflection, to me.

But I'm not seeing that on the legs, and the lower lip is distinctively white as well. And the white is restricted to the labial scales.

Not saying it's a bask with any certainty, but it doesn't look like any frilled baby I've been able to see so far. But that, of course, may be due to extreme young age and poor image quality. :/

Well, he immediately reminded me of a Knight anole, except not green. But the proportion of the head is what he made me think of that.

Definitely not a frilled; it doesn't even have a frill...

I agree with ceduke. First thought was Neon Tree Dragon. Interesting little lizards with neon green stripes down their backs that are sometimes sold at Petco and the like. The "Neon Tree Dragons" sold in Petcos and such seem to be Japalura splendida, for what it's worth...
Here's the only image I could find with a similar orient to yours: http://www.reptarium.cz/content/photo_00/Japalura-splendida-03000002421_01.jpg

I haven't heard back from the OP. I think I'll send them the links anyway. I did just a quick search this morning and it looked to me that really young frilled lizards didn't have any frill. I'm hoping to get a reply, but can't really be positive that I'll get one.

Thanks for all the help. I think guessing the species games are fun.
