A couple of new pics...

CornCrazy

What's one more???
This is Rain. She is an amel motley that I got from Taceas. I know she looks quite full...she refuses anything but live fuzzies. She chokes them down, though.

This is Sienna. He is supposed to be a crimson, but he doesn't look like any other crimson I've seen. He's one of my favorite snakes because he is so unusual looking.

Oh...the first snake definitely has a full belly. I keep praying that she won't regurgitate the mice because they are really too big for her. She prefers live mice with fur...I keep trying to switch her to F/T, but she just doesn't go for it (unless they are F/T hamster pinks).

What do you think about the second snake? I know you've seen TONS of snakes. Would you say he is a crimson? He almost looks amel...which is the weird thing. You can tell by his eyes, though, that he is hypo instead of amel. I keep trying to figure out what he is. He has to be homozygous for something beside hypo. I know that he is possible het many things, but I think there's more to him than just a bunch of hets. It's going to take lots of breeding trials to figure out his genetics. Good thing I have some females from the same breeder. They all pretty much share the same "possible hets."

well I wouldn't really classify it as a crimson...
crimsons are more with the silverish background like the miamis (and since crimsons are hypo miamis....)

but you're right....it doesn't look like just a normal hypo....lol....
do you have any idea of what the parents are???

just my 2 cents (or rather pence here:)) but the crimsons we have over here (or rather some of the crimsons in my collection) do develop a very very yellow/orange background pattern. That combined with very thin borders (or none at all in your "crimson") might give a snake like the secod picture. WHat ever it is, its damn nice

Thanks. He is one of my favorites snakes. He was supposed to be a she, but turns out to be a male. Maybe it's a good thing since now it will be easier to try to produce more like him.

As for the parents, I am not sure exactly what they were. I do know that this snake and several others I have are possible het for numerous things, including amel, anery, lavender, motley, aztec, striped, caramel, and a few others I can't think of right off the top of my head. This means they are also possible het combinations like snow, ghost, opal, etc.

I have some 2002's from the same breeder. I paired two normal motley-ish (they have a few belly checkers) corns together. I also am pairing a normal striped with an anery striped. When their babies hatch, it is going to be like Christmas...who knows what will be inside? I also have a 2002 snow corn from this breeder, but I paired it with an amel poss het anery. I wanted to see if the amel really is het anery.

Maybe I will eventually figure out what this little guys is. In the meantime, I am going to be working to try to produce more like him. :p
