updated photo of the Opal Motley female

As always, these Lavender dont show well in photos. At least not when I take them. She is getting really nice pastel background colors. Thanks

Great looking snake as always, Mike. Any chance to see an updated pic of your lavender motley as well? The last one you posted was amazing!

Thanks

Mike!
Need a better shot!
LOL...looks like a snow in the pic~~

But I have seen that female before...and man! She's super stunning!!!

Drolls all over my keyboard just knowing that it's an opal motley~~

I know what you are saying but a snow?

Look closely. Anyway, there is no way to capture the colors in any of these Lavenders. Thanks for looking.

I agree, those opals and lavenders are tough to represent correctly.

I messed a bit with your pic. Very nice animal. :)

Best I've been able to do is on a white background. Here's an opal with no retouch to the photo. There's too much of a yellow wash to it to me, so I'll just have to keep practicing. :p

A quick futzing:

Nice photos guys..

Yeah, it can be tough to get bright whites on a point-n-shoot digital. Digitals have white balance problems that aren't associated with 35mm cameras that can throw off your colouring like you wouldn't believe..

If your camera allows you to preset a white balance, then it's often best to go with under artificial lighting to produce more realistic colours, and whiter whites.

Here's one I took yesterday of one of my blizzard corns. Aside from not being able to capture the red colour of the eyes, her body colour is pretty accurate to how she actually looks right now.

Mike,

Yeah I know what you mean...cause taking photos with the lavs and opals are just a real pain in the butt....it's HARD.....sigh....
I don't blame you at all...lol......

Hurley,

WIth the retouch of the photo you can see a tint of the lavender colors on it~
It looks great!

Also the opal photos that you took are great!
It's already way better than mine~~

Very nice aztec, Paul. :)

(p.s. I'm expecting eggs any day now from the lovely motley gal I got from you a few years ago. :p )

Here's another attempt at an opal photo. :D
