Diorbhail 1/2/2011

Since we had her out to feed her tonight, anyway, I asked Z to snap a few quick pix of Diorbhail while she was all wound up around my arm (waiting for her dinner to be served). I sure like this girl. She's friendly, inquisitive, and totally unafraid. Now, when Picasso, a young male, finally gets to the friendly stage, he'll be so much easier on our hands :):

Picasso, btw, is quite a bit darker than this lady. I wonder if he lightens up with age, darkens, or stays about the same.... time will tell!

What a pretty snake!!

There is a large variation within BRBs that are hard to spot on the computer (versus in person), but some are much nicer than others....yours is a very nice one, IMO! :D

Pretty Girl, I may have to drive all the way up to you when the mice arrive just to see all your critters! How big do those rainbow boas get?

From what I read, Kelsie, somewhere around 7 to 9 feet. They never seem to look that long, though, because their build is so slender.

Maybe I'll bring her along with us so you can meet her :). And Little Boy (BCI). And Indy (huge BP male). Or maybe my tiny little 4 lb. Pomeranian--without snakes who are bigger than she is! LOL!

Lol exactly, we don't need to stress any of them out. When we know when the mice are getting here I'll have a better idea if we'll have time to drive up to see you.

She's so beautiful!! Also, that's awesome about her personality.

Can BRBs be conditioned with age, or is personality somewhat set from birth? Just wondering, I think these are beautiful snakes. I'd love to own one some day, but it's one of those "some time in the distant future" type things. ;)
