Cats and dogs... living together...

Just two pictures of my larger, fuzzy pets sharing a sunbeam. I just can't help but share when they are being cute.

First, it was just the duo (Morgan & Ticheli)


Then Whitacre joined to complete the trio.




And this last picture is two years old, but I still love it, and considering today's holiday, it seemed appropriate to share again.

I love that third pic! That is so cute. We have 4 dogs and three cats who for the most part get along wonderfully. Two of the cats are older and ignore the dogs for the most part but Ninja, my 9 month old cat, loves to play, wrestle, and chase the dogs. They also love sharing the sun spots.

So sweet! Our two boy dogs play with our feral rescue kitten (6 mos old). They rough house pretty good. Otherwise, dogs and cats ignore each other. They will share sunspots. Our cat Victoria loved to lick our dog Bob's ears. We called it his "ear appointment." Bob crossed the Rainbow bridge about 4-5 yrs ago. Victoria is still with us.

Nice pictures! I couldn't help but notice that they're all named after composers. Are you a music nerd like me?

Ticheli and Morgan (the duo) tend to play and wrestle a lot. Whitacre will sometimes, but he's usually much more interested in sharing the lazier activities. Lol! They have all been buddies since they were babies.

I haven't noticed either of the cats liking Morgan's ears... However, I have seen Morgan sneak a kiss/lick on the cat when he doesn't think they are paying attention.

LOL! Ah yes, my husband and I are definitely music nerds. Met in band class and everything. :roflmao: The two cats (Ticheli & Whitacre) are definitely named after favorite composers for us. Morgan wasn't intentionally given a composer name, though... When he was a tiny puppy in the dead of winter we would take him outside and he would stand on top of our feet like a baby penguin to avoid the snow. The only penguin movie we could think of was "March of the Penguins", narrated by Morgan Freeman.

I have a picture somewhere of the dogs and cats sleeping together. The cats also groom all the dogs. They get along great together. Even the new fosters are welcomed by my cats after they are sure they are dog friendly.
