i know right. but hey, it's the last real milestone age that anyone really looks forward to. So i guess after i reach 21 i'll start saying "21 plus ___" rather than the real #. Isnt that how all the old folks do it?;)

04-10-2004, 08:09 PM

Don't feel young and stupid! Honey, I wish that there were chat boards out there about reptiles when I was your age. It is great to learn at any age. :)

04-11-2004, 03:06 AM

04-11-2004, 12:07 PM

Hi Ramvolter - I think you might be our first member form Finland.
Welcome :)

04-11-2004, 02:33 PM
Thanks and really? I'm new to snakes too, don't have any yet, but i'm going to get a Corn Snake after i get a job (and most likely move to my own apartment first too)

So i have enough time to learn important stuff about Corn Snakes and plan what kind of terrium(sp?) to get. I'm possibly getting a "box made of plastic" (can't describe it with words lol) and put some paper on the bottom and couple "kitchen roll shell's" as hiding places and of course some small cup for the water and a lamp and a heating mat under the terrium.. :)

Argh! can't wait! Now i'm trying to find some videos of Corn snakes (videos i can DL, not buy ;) )

I'm 24, almost 25.

04-13-2004, 10:03 PM
I'll be 35 Sunday the 18th...

So much for being in the ever-important 26-34 range for Neilsen ratings and product advertising. From Monday forward I can expect denture, life insurance and AARP crap in the mail I guess...

04-13-2004, 10:13 PM
Happy Birthday Chip welcome to Old Geezer Ville. I'll be 36 on Sunday, one more thing you haven't thouhgt your half way to 70. :-poke: LOL

04-13-2004, 10:21 PM
As the near-famous Cracker song says! How cool we share a birthday! What's on your herp wish list? Want an Okeetee? :p

Yeah, it did occur to me that I'm halfway to 70. But whew, with 72 being median life expectancy for an American male, it's next year that'll really get me feeling old and feeble! :crying:

04-14-2004, 01:04 PM
I'll be 27 on the 27th...I would like an Okeetee! :D

04-14-2004, 07:16 PM
You guys are all youngsters! But Happy Birthday, and I got my Okeetee!

04-14-2004, 07:28 PM
23 old hey

04-14-2004, 10:03 PM
I'd take an okeetee but what i really want is a blizzard. It must be because i grew up in Michigan. Chip that hurt! :twohammer Now I feel half way to old.

04-14-2004, 10:07 PM
PM me. I have a few pretty Okees left over. And it IS your birthday...

04-14-2004, 10:33 PM
it was my birthday on the 12th... the day after Easter. hehe

04-16-2004, 06:45 PM
14 me , but dun let my age fool ya, i know a heck of a lot about snakes, probably even more so that the "adults", sum of you are 12, omg :O. I know who I aint taking advice from...

04-22-2004, 06:49 AM
I'm sixteen, ...17 on july 8. Still too lazy to get a drivers liscense or do anything really very productive..

04-22-2004, 12:36 PM
Nice! I had to get a job the minute I turned 16. Mom and dad made sure of that. If I wanted to drive, I had to pay for it, and I definitely didn't want to keep hauling my saddle on my bike for 30 miles so that I could ride. I wanted a car. Had to pay for the car, insurance, and gas. It's good though. Can't complain. Now that I'm 41, I appreciate what I got!
