I am curious as to the significance of August 7, 2002 that 192 people were on line at one time, 8:23 pm CT no less. I have only ever seen 20 or so at one time here whenever I've been on (and it's been quite a bit lately!), and am just curious if something special took place that day, or if it's just a glitch. It's from before my time here, so the curiousity gets to me every time I see that, and finally decided I had to ask.

Actually I remember that day. It seemed like there were a whole slew of unregistered guests logged in. I should have grabbed the IP numbers to check them out. Best I can figure is that some school class or something logged into this site and all of the students had unique IP addresses.

Either that or it was just a glitch in the system somewhere.

Maybe one of these days I'll figure out how to reset that number, since it certainly isn't anything that is going to be matched anytime soon.

Heck on FaunaClassifieds, which has a heck of a lot more traffic than this site, here's the record so far:
