Nice set of Vivs Marcel!

This a couple of vivs I made for a DT Project at school.

All I did was made a box with 5 sides not 6 (I did jopining to put them together). THen I put in a middle shelf, then I made a couple of doors, cut 2 large holes in the doors, then stuck some transparant persecs over the holes. I then Cut a hole in the side of the 2 vivs and Put an airvent over it. And lastly, I put some locks on it and put heat mats in it.

Nice viv Marcel. I have been thinking about building something similar....just need to find a plan which is within my microscopic carpentry skills.

What are the dimensions? Did you think about putting casters (wheels) on the bottom - it looks rather difficult to move about.

There is a herp show in Norwich in a couple of months and I can see me coming back with a couple of snakes to bulk up my meagre collection :)

The cages are 80 X 40 cm.. that is 32 inches X 16 inches... No, I don't need wheels. It is supposed to stay there as long as I will use it ;)

Taken with my new cell phone camera, not too shabby.

Four 20G longs with a 10G that has my rapidly growing GTP in it. Each shelf that has a 20G long on it has roller tracts so that those tanks can be pulled out to you for easier access. My dad and I built the wooden structure last summer and we made it solid as a brick S*(@&# house. I love it!
