Babies are not eating yet question

Our 2 baby corns hatched out Nov 14th and Nov 15th. They both had their 1st shed Nov 26th and Nov 28th.
They still will not eat. I have tried frozen/thawed pinkies and new born live pinkies I even cut the pinkie head off and tried feeding them it but they do not want it. They both look great and are not real skinny, I have seen them drink water.
I try feeding them every 3 days so I do not disturb them in any way.
So should I wait another week then try or wait and see if they will shed the 2nd skin?
How long can they go without their first meal?
Out of all the baby corns I have had these 2 are really hard to get to eat the 1st time!
Thanks for any help! I am getting worried about these two little ones! Like I said they both look great!:laugh:

Oh yeah nothing to stress out about just yet. I would wait 5-7 days. Then heat a tiny pink till it is hot put the babies in deli cups with their pinks and cover them with a towel and leave them in a quiet room for at least 30 mins. If they haven't eaten by that point reheat the pink and leave them overnight covered. Let us know how that goes. If it doesn't then we can try scenting or braining.

This is not very unusual. The clutches I have had have come with a few rebels. Most of them just take some time. My few non feeders went about a month before they finally caught on.

Don't stress them by trying to feed them too often. Do what Christen said and give them a week or so between attempts. The next time you feed, get the pink nice and hot. Around 100F is good. I generally put my non feeders in a very smal sandwich tub from GLAD. I put the pink in with them and cover them over with a towel so it's nice, dark, quiet and it gets nice and smelly from that hot pink. Most of the time they get the hint.

There are few that take it too the extreme and require you to brain the pink or wash with soap, but most will feed with time. You don't need to worry yet. My little non feeder whiteout went two months without food when I first got him. He now eats like champ and is pushing well over 350 grams and is four years old.

Thanks everyone I will wait a week before trying to feed again I been so worried I didn't want them to die on me, like I said these 2 are the 1st that will not eat for me. All the other ones I have eat like little pigs.
Thanks

I have also had non feeders go a couple months without eating. If you haven't yet I would get a scale so you can monitor their weights.

Me too! I had one that absolutely refused to eat anything until he was three months old, he lost a lot of weight in that time, but then I started force feeding and after 3 force fed cut up pinks/mouse/asf tails- he ate a lizard/asf slit scented pinkie and never needed any coaxing to eat regular pinks after that.
