Bearded Dragon Playing Ant Crusher!

hehe How dang cute is that? I am kinda glad I dont have that dragon... would never get anything done! Could sit there all day and watch him do that. hehe :) Does look like towards the end he was looking around like "what the heck man!" I try to eatz and they just mush!

Awesome! I wonder if the designers ever thought a bearded dragon would successfully play their game?
Of course the scientist in me thought: What an interesting research opportunity! I wonder what a bearded dragon would recognize as food and strike at? I notice it completely ignored the glowing green sphere. However, it successfully struck and killed the flying bug. Kind of reminds me of the time a jumping spider got on my computer monitor. It stalked and lunged at my cursor.

I just watched this yesterday! I wonder if Toothless would be up for playing it or more interested in running away?

OMG! Now I have to find that game for my Nook! That had me laughing all the way through! Thanks for sharing. I am going to post it on beardeddragon.org too.

Btw, that dragon looks just like my Dude.

I wonder if he is actually seeing ants or is he attracted to the movement. I'd bet he wouldn't react the same way if stars were rolling down the screen. There's also a cool video of a praying mantis trying to catch the cursor on a computer screen.

I think dragons have very keen vision. You can just see it in Isabel's eyes when she looks over a selection of insects and chooses the perfect one.

Yeah I think so too. I have a female dragon that eats only the red and then the green pellets when I feed the prepackaged dragon food. She refuses the brown ones even though they are the same formula as the others. I used to be stubborn with her and not pick out the brown pellets but she out lasted me and I hate waste. LOL The rest of the guys don't seem to mind eating her less brightly colors leftovers.

Pigeons are specialized to choose a few kinds of favorite seeds. This is beneficial in a flock because then there is something for everyone instead of everyone eating the same one thing.
