Keystone Pipeline

I wanted to look at this last night, but I fell asleep!

The (not) funny thing is, BO doesn't give a crap about the environment. I'm sure he is well aware that the number of miles of petroleum pipelines criss-crossing the US exceeds that of the Interstate Highway system.

He's playing the public, and you have to wonder why. Right now, he's making the environmentalists happy, and the big oil interests know that as soon as he's elected and it doesn't matter, that pipeline is going to be approved. Thus, the need for more time to analyze it.

He'll even go so far as to try to convince you that we're not losing that many potential jobs. It's estimated that the pipeline would provide about 20,000 well-paid jobs, but even if you take the very smallest estimate, 4,000- that's still a lot of jobs.

And back to protecting the environment. The oil is coming out. The only thing in question is are we, the US, going to buy it, or will it be sold to a foreign country?

You know, If we don't get it, China will. Canada has already threatened to pipe it to their coast and send it to them...
