So rich...do you leave your adults with the eggs for the duration? And what is that medium you're using. Looks like potting soil almost. =P

No. I take the eggs and set them up in vermiculite. The females have no interest in the eggs after they are laid. That is sphagnum peat moss I use for the laying medium.

Rich,

No chance of you still having the camera out and getting a couple pics. of the Hypo Pewters huh? :shrugs:

Still would love to see them !! ;)

Walter,

Taking photos of the egg laying is easy. I HAVE to be doing it, so I just keep the camera handy. Before I can photograph the Hypo Pewters, first I would have to FIND them.:shrugs: I'm sure they are around here somewhere, but since I am not taking care of that age bracket, I have no idea where they are.

I don't think many people understand the complete chaos that exists around here.....

Rich,

I hear ya. I have an idea of what you have to deal with over there. I know what it was like when I was dealing with 300+ animals, not including the hatchlings.

I know you're WAAAAY over that number in just breeders, so I'm sure you probably don't have time to blink sometimes.

Just looking forward to seeing the Hypo Pewts and I thought if you had camera in hand and was shooting you might have gotten a couple pics. ;)

I didn't realize you might have to go on a hunting trip to find them. LOL :crazy02:

Later, Walt
