'02 Amel Motley hatchlings/pipping

Kevin M

Corn Addict
Started pipping yesterday after 55 days of incubation @ 83 degrees. Oddly enough my first clutch (Creamsicles) last year started pipping after only 55 days also...

I love this time of year. I cannot wait for my other clutches to start pipping!

Aww!! I just melt when I see a pile of babies like that. They always curl up together if they are in the same box or container. With the exception of 1 or 2 loners.
Motleys, my favorite (along with stripes)! They're adorable. Congrats!

Ahhhh i am sooo inlove!
BTW I have desided what i am going to raise. I am getting a

1.0 Blizzard Corn
1.0 Anerythristic het for pastel motley Corn
0.1 Motley "normal" Corn

hehe can you tell what i will be doing in a few years? Yup I will be breeding Motleys! I JUST LOVE THOSE DOTS!

I will be ordering them next friday and I will get pics on here asap!

congrats dad

great babies.....just a question ....after the snake has laid her eggs do you put them in the container , is that not dangerous moving the eggs ?
How do you go about doing it ?

wow, i can't wait to start breeding myself! itis just the lack of space that is taking time!!

I keep a nest/humidity box in the females enclosures year round (except during brumation) so after she has deposited her eggs I gently take the box out and place the eggs exactly as they were laid in another box with vermiculite for the incubator.

It's really not dangerous at all as long as your careful.

8 hatched, 7 to go...

And look at those head patterns. Ever since Serp brought it up he has me comparing all siblings. heh.
