Dispelling some rumors about feeding mice to cornsnakes

The first rumor I want to dispell is that some people think a pinky mouse of ANY size is suitable for a baby corn snake.

Obviously there could be some problems associated with this thinking.

The second rumor is that people will often say that a small mouse doesn't have strong enough jaws to cause any damage to an adult corn snake. Nor are it's teeth very dangerous either:

I don't know about you, but I am GLAD that mouse is dead! I sincerely hope that I don't have a strain of saber toothed mice in my mouse colony!

:D

LOL funny... you could have probably sold the sabertooth mouse for like 5$ on the internet... probably on EBAY... LOL :D

i think rich has got some tweezers, a mouse....... and a day of work!!! hope he used lidocaine for the mouse though! lol

No. That mouse is just like we found him. One of the guys working for me brought it to my attention.

Rich,
Glad to see your making good use of your free time.......
.....but I think you may have missed out...crossing these two....imagine........Hairless saber tooth mice....$500. each.......

No way! That can't be real! A Sabre tooth mouse! We're talking prehistoric here. And you killed it! Your employee should be shot! That mouse could be worth millions! LOL

Sean - thanks for bringing up the issue of value of that saber-toothed mouse. I hadn't really thought about it. I guess the best thing to do is to dock the pay of the person whom killed it until they pay off that figure you have set. Sounds reasonable to me. Don't you agree?

Now where did I put that evidence...............

Well, let's see. The mouse was HERE and I took the photos, so you tell me whom would know best what it is. Maybe you need to clean off your monitor screen every once in a while.

Sean Belanger is the one whom found it, so he can certainly verify its authenticity.

And Snakebite001 I will tell you this only once. Don't call me a liar again. It's bad enough that you are wrong in your assessment, but to badmouth ME because you don't know what you are talking about is uncalled for.

The photo is EXACTLY what I said it is.

I think your credibility here has already been stretched to the limit, so don't push it further.

I figured Snakebite001 couldn't resist a snappy comeback. But he/she/it did it via email:

hiya...do me a favour...can you take those hrrible stickys of...it would be ok if they lasted as long as everyone elses...but no they ahve to saty there!

Spelling is not one of this person's strong points, to be sure.

However. we will no longer be bothered by this person here, so he/she/it will have to practice elsewhere.

I can certainly veryify that mouse is authentic. I found it and had just killed the mouse prior to feeding it to one of Rich's snakes when I noticed the unusually large teeth. I had never seen a mouse with teeth like that before and had to bring it to Rich's attention. I think we're both still wondering how it even ate.

I guess the best thing to do is to dock the pay of the person whom killed it until they pay off that figure you have set. Sounds reasonable to me. Don't you agree?

Hmmm...I think I remember you saying this...
I don't know about you, but I am GLAD that mouse is dead!

Sounds like I should get some kind of a reward eh? Maybe I can get the Employee of the Month parking spot? I'm sure Connie won't mind.
