I was reading through the threads and i have notice that most of the not so serious breeders have an amel and a snow(just like me!!!:D) With mine mom is amel and dad is snow. I was just wondering why people chose that combo??? In my case I chose my snow becase i wanted a male and the amel that i have really belongs to my best friend who went away for the summer and let me take care of her since she was going to lay eggs. Also i was wondering at the bottom of most peoples replies it say what type of snakes they have, i just want to know what does the 0.1 and other stuff like that means before the type of snake i.s.(0.1 amel) thanks
 
can't help you with the combo thing but I can explain the .1 thing. 1.0 snow means 1 male snow
0.1 snow means 1 female snow
0.0.1 snow means 1 unknown sex snow

Amels and Snows are easy to come by for most people. They seem to be the most common in pet shops and that is where most people have their first encounter with snakes. They also are reasonably priced and will fit into most peoples budgets. This is just my observation there might be another reason?? It sounded good anyway:D

I agree with Alicia that the Snows and Amels are one of the easiest corns to find in petstores! I actually started out with a 1.0 Snow and my second corn was a 0.1 Cream so I almost made the list of not so serious breeders! LOL
