Just got back from a trip through Utah visiting Zion Nat'l Park, Bryce Canyon and Arches Nat'l Park/Moab. It was some of the most amazing landscape I have ever seen. Although I am not a particularly great photographer, I decided to post some pics of the trip....

These are a couple from Bryce Canyon and Arches Nat'l Park

The pics...

These first three are from Zion near our campground. The latter are from a hike called "The Narrows" where the majority of the hike is upriver (in the river) through beautiful tall canyons thousands of feet high...

Oh I love Utah I stay near the salt lake area, would go back in a heart beat!! I had a great time.. however I don't see the pictures. :) but I bet they are great just the same.

I have been too all those places before...they are all beautiful!

Went snake hunting and ran across a number of non ven and ven snakes all throughout those areas!

Sky Pics

These last two are from the sky patterns I caught. One was just after a freak mansoon storm hit and the other was another storm rolling in near a western show we took the kids. Sorry some of my pics are distorted, I am still getting used to downsizing the file size....

....Lil Corn, I am in Tustin, so not too far from where you are. :)

Rolph, I wasn't too sure what type of snakes where there. I didn't see any but had I known there were several types, I might have been more cautious on my hikes. Saw a lot of lizards and frogs and some strange large bugs (plus one jack rabbit and a family of deer). But that is about it.

I disagree Chris, (in the nicest posible way!) we both live less than one hours drive from three beautiful National Parks. The Lake District and The Peak District, not forgetting the Yorkshire Dales:) but those picture really are beautiful........

your right of course, except the bit about yorkshire! but soon as it was in the nicest possible way and your the first person to tlk to me ill add to your rep power ... :sidestep:

cheers x

(THE PIC OF ME IS ON GLASS FLOOR IN BLACKPOOL TOWER!)

The Glass floor of Blackpool tower eh... how brave, Lancashire Disneyland at it's finest x Are there any decent snake suppliers in Leyland/Preston? I live Rossendale near Bury and only know one snake specialist.

decent, absolutly non! i havn't even found a shop that sells snakes in preton/leyland tho ive asked around ive been told theres one that sells them in leyland ill be cheking it out soon and ive been told theres one in chorley thats suposed to be ok, again i havnt chek'd it out ... where is theone you know of?

There is one in Bury, it is run by a young guy he is really enthusiastic and caring about his snakes. I recently bought a hatchling from him, And another in Urmston (Near the Trafford Centre) they are the only places I know of locally for certain. I dare not visit a snake shop for a while or I will end up buying another. :crazy02:

whats the address of the one in bury,

sorry to diss yorkshire gotta do it! its that all war of the roses issue! :crazy02:

It's called The Bird Cage (Oddly) as they dont sell birds, 135 Wash Lane, Bury, BL9 7DP 0161 797 4037 They have some odd opening hours so I would check before setting off. The shop could be a bit tidier but The owner is really enthuiastic and knows his onions.
