A new vivarium

Hello again everyone,

I have finally come about on building a new place for my snake, as the old one was getting really tight :) I have been planning the project for a month now and its finally finished :)

I’ve been round the pet shops and they charge silly money for a new vivarium £145 so I decided to build my own. There are a few pictures on how it was built:) also the old tank:)

I don’t have too much stuff in the vivarium yet, because I haven’t decided on the theme yet. Any suggestions are welcome :) I will also have a gander on the internet to see how other people have set it up their viveriums.

Hey looking good, How are you going to heat it and how much did it cost, I have put silk plants in mine.

Well I've got all the material from work, like plywood and timber, so it didn't cost anything. I just had to buy glass for the front and the bottom which cost me £20. And I also had to buy a mesh on the top for the ventilation which was £5. So in all it cost me £25 :)

As for the heating I have a mat heater under the tank.
