Well, not doing as many shows as we typically do, does have its benefits! This is the earliest, by far, that I can ever remember having my inventory uptodate. I just finished up the shopping cart numbers for the 2004 animals so that it reflects reality. Sales have been going along pretty well, so I am hopeful that I will be pretty much sold out in a couple of months so Connie and I can have something faintly resembling a vacation this winter.
I have gone through the adults with a very heavy hand and already sold off most of what I have on surplus. Plus I have a verbal that anything else I decide to put on surplus will be snapped up as soon as I send the guy a list. Most are going out of the country, which is what I would prefer. Now all I need to do is to play "musical snake cages" and move a lot of those guys into the vacated larger cages. Probably still didn't move out enough, but I guess it's a good start. Producing 6,000 babies a year is really not all that much fun while the hatching is taking place! Kind of like trying to empty the ocean with a bucket......
