30 gal aquarium tank???

I'm moving my red eared sliders to a 55 gallon at Christmas and would love to use their old tank (a 30 gallon) for another corn. It has the same floor space as a 20L which my other corns are in, but how would I go about keeping the temps optimal in there? What wattage bulb would I need over the warm side to help the uth keep it at a good warm temp and would the cool side be too cool?

I use a 25 gallon. UTH on front left corner, heat lamp towards the back, but off the edge (can't put it directly above the UTH). It stays around 85 on the warm side, 75 on the cool.

This question always strikes me as silly. If you have a really long tank, putting a heat lamp on one side would be counter productive because as you'll have your 85 on that one side, WAAAAAY over on the other side has NOTHING. Gets very cold over there. Wheras if you put it in the MIDDLE (for say a REALLY long tank), you'll have your 85 degrees in the middle, and a gradual cooling on either side.

See? :)
