Corn Snake breeding

Charlie

Too Far Gone
Hi,
I am buying some corn snakes off the internet and I am planning to breed them. I was wondering if anyone could tell me some pairings of these snakes and what it would produce. I am recieving a normal female, reverse okeetee female, snow male, miami male, and striped normal female. I am planing on breeding them with my friend's snakes. She has a creamsicle sex unknown, anery female, butterscotch male, and a normal male.

HMMM its a bit hard to go though all the genetics right here... look up Serpwidgets site...

http://serpwidgets.com/cornsnakes/morphs/morphs.html

this will help you a little... but if you breed anything... and you want to get that morph your going to need to pair 2 corns that are the same phenotype (the way they look) they have to be the same... ex. bloodred to a bloodred = bloodred... if you pair a bloodred to a normal = all normals unless they are heterozyges for something (het means not showing trait but they are a carrior for that morph) you can also get a morph by combining 2 corns that are het for something and get it...ex. normal het carmal to a bloodred het carmal will give you some stuff plus carmals youll get the carmals since both were het for it... well i hope i havent confused you... i tried to explain the simpliest I could... if you have any questions then ask Serpwidgets... lol Im not a genetics geek but he sure is! :D
