where do you find cornsnakes

As in ... the wild? or captive bred for purchase?

I don't live in a cornsnake part of the world, so of course I can't find them outside... though I could easily go out and find coachwhips, coral snakes, rattlesnakes, and california kingsnakes.

As far as purchasing them? I have purchased from a local breeder, and at a reptile show. I got one beautiful cornsnake from Kathy Love, 2 from a local breeder, 3 from someone from a classified ad... he shipped them to me from Oklahoma, another person wanted to find a good home for them so gave me two, Another person wanted to donate some corns to a classroom, so I have a pair that are in my classroom.

I would suggest that www.serpenco.com or www.cornutopia.com are two good places to start looking. also the "corns for sale" section on this site and the www.faunaclassifieds.com have some good classified sections. There are other sites as well.
