I don't know about Queens, but one of the best animal hospitals in the country is the Animal Medical Center on East 62nd, right off the FDR by York. www.amcny.org. They are open 24/7 for emergencies. You can walk in with your animal at anytime, but you are better off making an appointment and requesting an exotics specialist, they have several. Warning, they are pricey but worth it imo. Also, you can call the aspca, they are on 91st, also way east. I don't know if they have exotic specialists, if they do they are also expensive, but they might also be best able to find you one in Queens.
