Feeding Poll

I would like to know the feeding methods used by the majority here so this is why the polls here.

keep it natural

i keep ...or try to keep my snakes as natural as possable in a captive environment ......with supervision offcourse..i feed live mice .....and if it looks like the mouse wants to bite ....then i shoot it(the mouse).....hehehe...in da head with a bb gun ....short and sweet ...but i want my snakes to constrict their prey ,...the one that i feed dead mice does not even attemot to constrict ....and i dont think that is natural ...

I gif my Corns F/T mice! Becouse my mother does not want live mice to be fed to my snakes!! she think's it is sad for the animals!

I am going to gif them live mice when i move out!!!

F/T mice are safer. Besides the danger of biting (which can be avoided with supervision), there is also the possibility of parasites with live mice. The freezing process kills most of the bacteria and parasites that a mouse might have. It is more natural to feed live mice, but in nature it's easier for the snake to get sick... So natural is not necessarily better for your pet.

B-J@y - it is natural for the snake not to constrict it's dead prey. A snake can tell live from dead, and why bother to kill an already dead mouse? If your snake was lucky enough to come upon a freshly dead mouse in nature, it probably would not bother to constrict it either.

Mine is still on 1day old pinkies. I wouldn't know where to get those live twice a week.
