You should keep your snakes separated for 4-6 weeks at a minimum to make sure that no diseases or parasites are introduced into your vivarium.

Also, you can search the forum on this topic -- people are pretty divided on keeping multiple snakes in the same viv.; my take on it is that you can do it if you really want to but it is probably not the best environment for keeping your snake healthy and happy.

Happy Holidays!

Some people maintain that you should keep them in a smaller cage until they get bigger because the space is intimidating, but as long as you give him a lot of places to hide or burrow the large floorspace shouldn't be an issue. I have my '04 in a 20 long.

As long as you have plenty of hides you should be fine. Good cheap hides to use are paper towel rolls. You place several around the cage so they can go from one side to the other.

I just bought my two corns back in Sept and on is in a 29 gal and the other a 20 gal long. I have 2 hides in the 20 gal and the substrate is about an inche think. I also have fake plants, the long vine looking ones with the leaves stuck to the side and provide cover on the bottom. He likes the hiding under the water dish though. Both are doing great.
