making a custom tank

im planning on doing a DIY project this summer(thats when im getting my snakes hopefully) and i want instuctions on how to make a custom tank about 40g and with sliding doors. i want the instructions as detailed as possible(what wood is the best to you finish coat ect...) thx alot guys. :cheers: and how do you install a UTH in a wooden enclosure or u dont?

okay...im not going to give a link but i will tell you what i've had success with
-I've made all of my cages custom and i've found that 3 quarter in. plywood looks pretty nice once sanded (go throught about 4 grades of sand paper) really rough, semi rough, seim course and then course...then seal. and stain if desired. as for the sliding door you can get 3/6 inch sheet metal and make your own. cut off pieces for top sides and bottom...make sure to measure 2-3 times b4 this and allow for the length to overlap in your meausrements. tac (weld thse together...then use a dremel or another tool of that nature and make 2 grooves really close together for the pieces of glass to slide in hav someone hold the glass inplace while you weld the last piece inot the bottom...I KNOW THIS SOUNDS COMPLICATED BUT ITS REALLY NOT IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING...if you want something more simple...one of the links above work. lol.
