Dark Spots within...

DdotSpot

The Snewbie
Now that I've got to see my snake a bit closer, I've noticed some dark spots(about half an inch to an inch long spots) underneath his skin when the light shines behind him. Is this something that I should be worried about?

Last time he was fed was a week and a half ago. I haven't fed him yet myself.

the thing I would be worried about is if the spots are moving? are they? try to note where they are now, then check again later, so they are not mites or something under the scales, I've heard of those before, but might just be how your snake is.

It's probably the internal organs you are seeing through the skin. They are more noticeable with lighter snakes. I can see them through my little snow as well.

I like to call my snow "The Invisible Snake" because you can see right through him in the sunlight. It's pretty cool.
