Handling time span

Hi All-

Is it okay to have my corn out of her cage for a long time? Sometimes I have her out drapped around my neck as I watch tv, surfing the web, or while walking the dog. He doesn't seem to mind (I think??)

Creeper doesn't really mind being out, but she's always glad to return to her viv, and she will always retreat to her hide for a little bit. I think the longest she's ever been out is about 15 or 20 minutes. She's always ready to explore when she's out, but I don't know if it's because she's adventurous or if she's just really nervous. She stays really close to me the whole time.

Davina the thought of your snake with you as you walk your dog seems a nice thing but does your snake not freak out or get cold? What age is your snake mine are almost yearlings and love to get out in my living room they can be out for an hour or more at times, i love to watch them climbing up over the video and my ornaments the strength they have is amazing.

You are not affraid that they escape?

Mine are out for many hours at a time sometimes and once I actually forgot I had a 2 foot snake in my pocket (kangaroo pouch on a sweatshirt) and went to do the groceries!!! I guess the biggest problem (after escape opportunities) is the chance that because of the extra heat (from your body) and all the movement, they might poop on you...that's happened to me a few times!!
I'd like to take mine out into the backyard but we have a few snakeophobes in our building and them finding out I let my snakes roam might fuel complaints to the board...no drama, we're close friends with the chairman!!

i have samus out for hours on end, but i think she feels a bit tired when she crawls down my sleeve and curls up!
