Cool looking snake,I think she has earned retirement.I do have a friend who had a snake that he bred for eighteen years before he retired her.But I think they deserve to retire before that.

Say 2 or 3 posts per person per day, or 20 posts for the week? Thats what i would do anyway.

Ok, I've not been around these parts very long and I tend to read more than I write, but I do think that getting rep points for this kind of posting leads to an inaccurate rating.

Not that this particular member ever does give out advice, but if he were to do so then it could very well be useless and his rep points may lead people to believe that he is knowledgable and should be listened to.

I do think that activity of this sort is verging on abuse of what is a great forum, but it would be a shame to have to change the rules for the masses dut to the behavious of a very small minority.

I dunno, maybe he just likes looking at snakes? I'm often to be found lurking around the photo gallery but I don't tend to post there much...

I'm not entirely sure what the best thing to do is, but having had a look at the member in question's history it does appear that he doesn't intend to start giving out duff advice and abusing his reputation - he just seems to enjoy giving people feedback on their pictures, which I suppose isn't a crime.

I don't know, you can't judge a person's motives, especially over the internet. Being on this site for a couple of years, I have seen many people come and go that had the same posting "enthusiasim". Many of them were before we even had reputation points, so I don't think we can claim that rep points would be thier ONLY motivation. Years ago it used to be "SilverTounge" and we've had a few more since I just don't recall usernames. As long as this person is not dishing out bad info or anything, I don't think its a problem that won't fix itself over time. And I know it seems impossible, but some people ARE just really nice and have time on thier hands.

Why pick on the guy? He is hurting no one. If you don't like his reply don't read it. Not like he is giving bad advice.
Some people have way too much time on their hands.

Contributing

We are arguing in this thread about them and their multiple posts on pictures where they could as easily argue that this is not relevant information, except we are addressing a point and it is located on the correct section of this corn forum.

I for on couldn’t sit in the Photo section the whole day and post the same thing but I think that it has something to do with my ADD lol, but they make their living posting the same thing.

Whereas there are several names on this site that you highly respect for the quantity and composition of peoples posts and what they have to contribute to this site. Quiggs for on CAV, DAND for another few and there are many more but there are these handful of people that stick out as true contributors and we should highly respect them.
