shaking and spit up

well I admit I gave my corn a pinky that was a lil to big, i guess it could be considered a peach pinky. 3 days later she spit it up. I know that it is normal and that is not the problem. I just need to feed her newborns. The problem is she is shaking badly. Not twitching and floping , but just head to tail shaking. Like she is nervous or cold. I was just wondering if this was normal or should I be concerned.

ps this happend a few mins. ago btw

I'm no expert...but I have had a couple snakes regurgitate a few times. None of them have EVER started shaking, however. I would be concerned and take her to the vet. Is she still shaking?

Good!

I'm glad that it stopped. I wonder what caused it??? That's something I've not heard of before. Please keep us posted on how she does!

shaking and puking

Regurgitation is not normal. It suggests that their is one or more husbandry problems, that while easy to fix in most cases, should be monitered closely. Feeding an animal a larger prey item than normal is one thing, temperature is another. I f you have a snake that regurgitates its food, you should not attempt to feed again until several days later. Let the digestive enzymes in the snakes gut rise again. Do not over feed, keep the babies warm--82-84'. Does the shaking include vibrating its tail? Or is it the whole body? It could be agitated. I would not bother the snake for a couple of days. How old is the snake?
:D

Hi ST,
As Vedica said I would leave it alone for a couple days and I would not try feedind it again for about 7-10 days. When you do I would go with the smallest pinkie.
I hope that helps,
Jimmy C.
