12 inches of irony

TrpnBils

22 is not enough snakes
Two days ago it was 75 degrees and sunny.

Right now we have a good 6 inches of snow and we're supposed to get another 5 or 6 by morning.

God I love Erie. :devil01:

Yikes...I remember living up the road.....

....in the Buffalo area. My first winter there, SEVEN feet of snow the week between Christmas and New Year's.

Lake effect snow makes Wisconsin seem like the Cayman Islands.

jazz

So much for the Weather Channel. That 6 inches we were supposed to get last night still hasn't stopped coming down and we passed the 2 foot mark about an hour or two ago.

It is 79 here.

Here's a pic I just took to rub it in a little. :)

thanks gary

At least it ended up being a decent evening. The snow has finally stopped, and judging by what I can see across the lake there, it looks like the Canadians had a nice day anyway.

TrpnBils, those are absolutely gorgous shots. I'm glad winter has wound down up here but I have to admit, shots like you have there are sure beautiful.

haha, wait...you live in Vermont and you say the winter has "wound down?" Now I feel really cheated...but thanks!

LOL....yep, snow is all gone up here in the hills even. Just a few white piles in the really shaded parts of the woods. But, we could ALWAYS get a surprise mini snow storm, been known to happen, but it never stays. In fact, the buds are just starting to grow on the trees now. WON'T be long before we have green!!!! Yippee!!

Hope your snow melts away fast for you. :)

Jeff,

This is what my back yard looks like just down the road from you in Mentor, OH. Not as much as what you got, but I'll tell you I've sure had enough. Cleveland set a record with this storm and I don't care to see another record in my life time.

And Cav, you're all heart, man.

I wish we would get some snow. The northwest is going to be in for a bad drought this summer.
Would you like some of the excess we have cutting chanels in my back yard? I'll send it to you special....

Johns Hopkins is doing gender reassignment surgery on canines now? :crazy02:

Parts is parts, as the saying goes. He's still a boy; just a eunuch, as it were.

you can keep the 90 degree weather. it's supposed to be back to 70 by tomorrow so instead of 2 feet of snow, we'll just have flooding and a whole lot of mud. I guess you can't pick your battles with nature though!
