Visionariums?

After reading several posts here, I have decided to separate ozzy and sharon. They are currently in a 29 gallon aquarium together. I am wondering if these cages sound good? And if anyone has one, when you stack them is there still room on top for the hoods that they sell for them?
Thanks a lot, I have learned so much from this place already, and I really appreciate the help. :wavey:
this one mesures 12x12x30 btw

Visionarium stackable terrarium

Lockable display is great for commercial or private use!
1/4” inch glass on all sides!
Ventilated corner posts!! The cage breathes even when stacked!!
Optional snap in dividers
Stackable - They nest with each other
Sliding front doors
Removable doors
Knock-down design for easy storage and transport
All parts are replaceable, even the glass!
2 small “Cord Channels” for extension cords to come out (located on the bottom of the cage)

I just remembered the serch feature, I found some good answers to my questions - except about a hood that fits the 12x12x30 model and still allows them to be stacked. Does anyone have one that size?

I emailed LLL reptile and asked them about it (since that's where I was planning on ordering them from) and they said the visionariums will still stack with the hoods on, so I ordered them. I'll let you all know if it works, not that it looks like anyone is interested LOL :p

Hate to hijack a thread but Traci1, are these any more clear than Sterilites or Rubbermaids? If so I may look into them myself. I wish they made a totally clear big(around 36"x15"x6") tub, not just hazy clear but COMPLETELY clear, but if these are close I will consider them. That is for my viewing pleasure of course, I know the snake doesn't care. Thanks,

i can't say they are totally clear but IMO they are clearer than rubbermaids and sterilites. and they have nice clear lids too! and I also like that they don't have any weird shapes, bumps, ridges, etc in the bottom, it's a nice smooth surface inside. I LOVE them.

they do make them in the following size

Our Long Underbed Box
35-5/8" x 18-1/4" x 6-1/4" h
10008765 - In Stock

That sounds good, but i just like having them on display, and the visionariums will allow me to do that. I already bought then too LOL.

Urgh, the bumps and ridges p*** me off. The only good sized tubs I can find for my adults have recesses for the wheels (they're underbed roller containers) and are a cow to line with newspaper.

they caught my eye too, but I think I'm gonna wait till they come out w/ the bigger sizes. I might pick up a couple for my caulker cay boa and my carpet python. (although the carpet won't need a big cage for awhile, it's just a little thing right now)

i wouldn't mind hearing your opinions on the visionariums after you've been using them.

:dancer: YEY! They have finally arrived! They do indeed stack, even with the hoods on. I stuck a folded over paper towel tube in the gap between the doors. Tell me if you see something I need to change please!

wow those are nice! ill probably get those when my babys need a new cage. Although im going to have a 20gL already since my bearded dragon will be needing a new tank soon. I wonder ,if you could stack a 20gL on top of a visionarium?

It looks like one would sit up there, but I would NOT recommend doing it. There are grooves on the top and bottom of the visonariums, it sort of locks them together when stacked. An aquarium could fall right off of there though.
