Ima newbie i dont have a snake yet but i neeed to know what size cage i woukld need ? i know i would need somthing high for it to clib but how many gallons?

They don't need height. I would suggest a 10 gallon for a year or less than a 20 gallon long (30" by 12") for anything up to an adult. You can house a hatchling up to an adult in a 20 long if you want to as long as you have LOTS of hides

What RA said is basically true. I just thought I might add that you'd want to make sure that you get a 20 gallon LONG (rather than the taller ones that have similar floor space to a regular ten gallon tank). The "floor space" is what will be important as your snake reaches maturity.

Good luck on getting your first corn! :)

Edit: I somehow skipped over the word "long" in RA's post. I guess he had it covered this time.;)

20 gallons for an adult could be enough, but i must say i dont have the heart for that. i only have 3 corns, as aposed to a breeder colony, and a new clutch. i keep my male in a 50 gallon, and my female in a 55, with a yearling in a 15. i just feel its not fair for the poor snake, and i like to spoil them.
