Hey,
Just curious, has any1 been bit by their corn snake or a corn snake and whats it feel like (does it hurt). I have an 11 month old corn snake, it hasnt bit me yet but have only had it for about a month and havent handled it all that much? just curious as i know they're renowned for being docile, thanks...

You asked this exact same question on Reptileforums.com and got lots of answers.

Why are you re-asking it over here? The answers are going to be the same...

my hatchling used to strike a bit so i just handled her a few times and now she's chill. never got bit or striked at by an adult.

it always shocks me, and it's not a pleasant thing, but not the end of the world either. It's more startling than it is painful. With babies, it feels like many little tiny paper cuts at the same time.

this was from a Baird's rat (around a year old I would guess) - which by the way is up for auction at Faunaclassifieds.com. A Fauna Fund auction.
