Snake in blue.......

for the past few days my snake has been in blue, its eyes have been glazed over, but today when i went to handle him, his eyes seem clear. iv searched the viv for shed skin but there is no sign. any ideas?

You won't find the skin just yet. Give him another 24-48 hours and you will find a surprise

Snakes will clear up for a day or two before they actually shed their skin. It can make things a little confusing at times.

I knew my female was going to shed within a couple of days after clearing so i really wanted to see it, i kept having a peek at her but i had to go out for an hour and when i came back she had shed. I'm sure she was waiting for me to leave the house lol

After my snake goes through the blue phase, it takes her atleast a week until she sheds.

update

Just to let you all know, i went out today and my snake has shed for the first time in my care, and i have a beautiful 23" skin to show for it! just something iv been wondering about....is there any way of preserving the skin? im giving it to my girlfriends lil bro! keep the future in-laws sweet! hehe! :grin01:
