Basic Snake Care PowerPoint Presentation

CornCrazy

What's one more???
Last week I had to do a presentation for the 2nd year students in the Vet Tech program at Columbia State Community College in Columbia, TN. I thought some of you might enjoy seeing it. This presentation was only the beginning of my actual time there that day. The students and I actually spent the whole class time talking about snakes (1.5 hours!). It was great to see how interested they were in a subject that many people are afraid of.

Basic Snake Care Presentation

By the way, I actually made this presentation a year or so ago. I had permission to use MOST of the pictures in it. If any of the pictures belong to you and I did not have permission to use them, then please contact me and I will remove them if you want me to.

That was really clear and informative Terri! I had to do a double take with that first snake you showed, the sunglow motley, I honestly thought that was my yearling girl Lotus but I never remembered taking that photo!!!

Thanks!

Thanks Terri, you couldn't post this at a better time!

I have to make a presentation in my daughter's class and this little document will help me to better prepare it. It is precise and clear!

Thanks again!

Yeah, I know.... :crazy02:

I'm just besotted with her. I weigh all my snakes at the beginning of each month and she weighed in at 74g yesterday, so I don't think she'll be big enough to breed next year. I wanted her to be at least 270 by the time I put her down for brumation and I don't think she'll make it without powerfeeding...so I guess I could see if she'll give me a later-in-the-summer 2006 clutch cos I don't know that I'd be patient enough to wait all the way to 2007! But hey, I'm going way OT!!!

Thankyou again...I think she's devine.

That was great! I'm going to have my kids read it so they'll have a better understanding of how to take care of our Sweets. Great job!

Great job Terri! that is an awesome powerpoint. i just made one for my world history class and we made those in my IT class to. They are really easy and a great way to present.

I liked that a lot. I need to see what cool little add-ons (like that) I can put on my site. First I gotta get the bulk work on the pages done.

And congrats on going to Columbia and surviving the excitement of the big city!

LOL! Good one, Daniel! It's not an insult coming from you...you know me well enough to know better, anyway.
