Baby frogs/toads and lizards...

I live in FL, and I have a ton of lizards and baby toads in my area. Is it alright to feed my baby corn toads or lizards? It would save me some money when it comes to buying mice. Just a quick question. Thanx!

i wouldent risk it cuz you dont know where they have been and they might have all kinds of parasites so the quick answer to this is no

Not to mention that toads are poisonous. If you gently squeeze those 'sacs' above their eyes, white stuff comes out of the pores. I do believe if they are getting attack they release that stuff.

I think it's pretty potent.

Yeah, the toxins from some toads could kill your snake. Also, wild lizards have mites and internal parasites which could hurt your snake. The potential vet bill from feeding you snake wild animals is a lot more expensive than just buying it some captive bred mice.
