Why are we not satisfied with ONE snake? I have a Black King and a Normal Corn, but recently have been looking at either a Black Rat or a "Black Albino" (saw these at Serpenco.com). And those red milksnakes or scarlet kingsnakes :crazy02: WOW!!!!!

I don't have room for another tank, yet I want more snakes  . This is a very addictive hobby. My wife feels like :twoguns: regarding the two I have. Imagine if I told her I wanted to try breeding :flames: (snakes, that is) .

Great Rack! Hey, I said that to my wife just this morning :sidestep: ...

I would love to build one of those. One day...

I have the best wife ever. She loves the animals as much as I do, and didn't even flinch at the idea of mice in the freezer. I did break her in slowly as she's had several years to get used to the worms and other live fish foods in the fridge. She even helps me with the live crix for the frogs.

I'm in the process of ordering corn #4 from Cornutopia to add to my menagerie (see signature), and have been casually ;) showing my wife pics of rack systems too

Good luck keeping it down to two....

This is a very addictive hobby.
No kidding!!! I ordered three cornsnakes months ago, and am waiting impatiently till they hatch and are ready for shipment. In the meantime, I purchased three and would like lots more.

I'm always showing my husband pictures of snakes. The other day, I said "come look at this pretty snake, I love it"... he laughed and said "Are there any cornsnakes you don't like?" Okay, well he's got me there. I've really grown to appreciate the different morphs and would like some of each.

He wonders why I can't just be happy with one snake. Well, it's nice to know that I'm not the only one with that problem. :D

Here we go again...

By the looks of it...yet another adictive hobby...I only have one snake, a small female Okeetee, bought it yesterday...

I also share my house with 2 cats, 2 parrots, and a huge amount of discus fish in about 600gl worth of tanks...oh...I also have a very understanding girlfriend... :)

Who knows were I will be next year...

Rod :shrugs:

As if the corns aren't enough, wait until you want some of the other species!
There are so many beautiful serpents available, I find it difficult to be satisfied with just one type. I will most likely get into a few more of the "others" by the end of next year. So be it

Your journey to the Dark Side is not yet complete my young apprentice! :devil01:

Hehehehe, I say the same thing to my man all the time when I'm lusting after the pictures on serpenco.com or any of the other sites I like to 'window-shop' at!

I started with 'just 2' about 2 years ago and I'm up to 11 bigg'uns and a plethora of hatchlings now!

Snakes and other animals are about as addictive as piercings and tattoos.....so I'm just kind of screwed!!! I just got a larger tank for Torque, and am looking into what to put in his old tank, although Im thinking I want a ball python, so I might as well go get another big tank... Man, if my apartment would let me have a dog, I bet I could slow down my snake and fish addiction for at least a bit!!!

I'll agree with you there... if I had the money and/or room in my apartment, I'd definately have a couple more snakes. I've been thinking about it for a couple of months and I think my next snake will be a boid of some sort but I want to go a little bigger than a ball python.... (oh, what to do? lol)

I started with a banded Cali king that I bought from a pet store (quite a while ago)--I discovered corns while looking up care sheets for my King. I now have--lemme count...:
34 Corns
5 Kings
10 KSB
2 Western Hogs
I am eagerly anticipating some hatchlings from Joe Pierce this year, and plan on visiting Serpenco before the 1st!!
My journey to the dark side is complete!!--Well, almost...OK...just one more...
