Feeding Question

Hi, our female who just layed eggs last week finally shed today to I wanted to get some food in her since she has only eaten once in a month so I gave her two fuzzies because I wasn't sure if it would be good to feed her a mouse since she just layed eggs and hasn't eaten in a while. She gulped the fuzzies down in no time and now I am wondering if I should give her a small mouse now...would that be too much or should I just wait a few days. She is a good size snake and is between 3-4 years old so the fuzzies were a small meal for her.

The first meal after laying can be difficult for them to digest and they will regurgitate too big of a meal. I suggest that you wait until the next scheduled feeding to give her the small mouse.

I will wait about 5 days to feed her again...I'm just so glad to see her finally eat something...should I continue with a couple more fuzzies for her next meal or would a small mouse be ok? Thanks
