Does anyone know any contact information for Big Cheese Rodent Factory? I have been trying to go to their website (www.bigcheeserodents.com), but it does not seem to exist anymore. I am wondering if they are still in business. If not, I'm going to be frustrated because I have about $65 of store credit with them! Anyone who can provide contact information or any information about this, please let me know!
Thanks!

I think it is on your end because I just clicked on the link and it opened right up. :shrugs:

That's really weird. I'm still getting the "this page cannot be displayed" message. I'm not having trouble with any other sites. Do you have any suggestions?

The link works for me too, and I just got a huge shipment in from them 2 weeks ago, so no worries about the business gone bad...

Thanks Quigs! I think I'll wait a few days to see if the problem solves itself. If not, I'll have to email Chad Martin from Big Cheese to see if there's something going on on his end. Is anyone else having trouble getting on to the site? Thanks to all for your help.

clicked the link you provided, have never been there before.... Cheesey Picture on the page! :)

I would clear your cache on your computer and try it again. Seems unlikely it is a problem with the site, more likely it is a problem with your computer, since so many of us have been able to get to the site

If you're using Internet Explorer go up top to the tools menu and choose internet options... and on the first "general" tab you'll see links to clear your browsers cache.

I had no problem with the link either. If you cant get it to work, here is their phone numbers.

800-887-0921
817-926-3300
817-926-3305 FAX

Hmmm... I am using internet explorer, but I'm not seeing any way to clear my "cache" on the general tab of internet options. I tried the "delete cookies" button, but I still can't get to the site. Any suggestions?

right next to delete cookies is "delete files" try that one too... and for good measure try the "delete history" or "clear history" and then try to go to the website by typing in the URL

Alright, I tried both of those. Still no luck. I suppose the next step is to call the internet company I use. Anyone have any other ideas? It's just weird that I have no trouble getting to any other web sites and that everyone else can get to the big cheese site. Thanks again.

Once in awhile your computer will hang on to the page in it's cache no matter what you do. When that happens, go to run all the deletions previously spoken of, then shut the whole system down for at least 2 minutes. I know, when you're surfing 2 minutes is an eternity. Shut it down and go grab a snack...come back and bring the system back up. Something about letting all the bytes and bits settle themselves sometimes does the trick. I'll have this happen when I'm trying a new web effect and need to refresh and see the NEW page rather than the one I just "fixed." Good luck!

Okay,

D80-
I went to the tools menu, internet options, hit the "privacy" tab and then set it to accept all cookies from the big cheese site. That didn't do anything.

Rosebear-
I tried the "Delete Files," "Delete Cookies," and the "Clear History" buttons and then shut down the computer while I ate dinner. This didn't do anything either.

So what now? This is so crazy!

Hello, this is Carol's husband butting in.

There are a few reasons that this could be happening.
This website is hosted by Yahoo business services, which I have used in the past.

Occasionally they will update ip address banks used to point to their hosted servers. Depending on the name lookup servers (DNS Servers) between them and you, it could take up to 72 hours for the new address to link up to the domain name.

Or,

Your local ISP may have updated their servers causing the same effect.

All of the suggestions mentioned earlier should have helped if it were just on your system end. (Although one more was left out. Opening up a command prompt and typing "ipconfig /flushdns")

If this isn't working by Tuesday, I would call your isp and make sure they are not having problems.
