Pinks to Fuzzies

I was just wondering when I should stop feeding my corn pinks and feed him fuzzies. I know it has to do with how many pinks he takes and his size, but I find it tough to tell when to give him more than one pinkie, should I just offer it to him and see if he takes it? He's still very young and I'm not sure what morph and length he is, but I am pretty sure he is a male. Any answer would be really helpful. Thanks

baby corns can generally eat a small fuzzy if they have to, unless they are really small or the fuzzy is real big...if you are feeding thawed prey items here's something you can try that makes a prey item easier to swallow and digest...once it is thawed place it on a paper towel and "roll" it between your fingers (don't squish it tho ;*) )...this breaks up bones and stretches it out about...if your corns eaten successful a dozen times or so on pinks, moving him up should be no problem...As to the "morph" of your corn if ya post a pic I'm sure we'll be able to tell you what ya have :*)

When you say that when I feed him a dozen times or so succefully with pinkies I can feed him fuzzies, does that mean in every feeding before I feed him fuzzies that I feed only one pinkie or more than one?

Should have clarified that...If he's eaten 3 months or so on pinkies he should be ready to move up to fuzzy mice...Unless he's a dwarf corn ;*/...Some folks transition between the two by feeding their corns two pinkies for a few feedings, then going to fuzzies, but that is generally up to you...

that's generally how i do it,seems to work okay.

meh when i got my fuzzies in i gave him two, he moved up from pinkies to fuzzies, but hes taking two because hes a fatty, and he can get them down quite easily, its amazing what these things can eat.
