Hello

My 1 1/2 year old Snow male has some smudges on him...well i think...he had one before, and it shed off, but now I see some more. They are not mites. Its like smudges....black

is this from the newsprint? my boyfriend suggested this but they are on his top not around his belly. and none of my other snakes seem to get anything on them. any ideas?

My oldest snow (the one I got from NERD) is a messy little fellow. He likes to rut around in his turds so sometimes he winds up "smudged" by his own deficate - I hope he doesn't pass this trait to his offspring, but I have a new 2002 male snow in the wings just in case it's hereditary :)
