A basic rule of thumb is that the tank (width + length) shoule be AT LEAST as long as the length of the corn snake.

For a 4 months old, a 10 gallon tank should do find (assuming the snake has a normal growth...some have super fast growth....

I would assume that a yearling with a 20 gallon long tank would do good!

Good Luck and Happy Herping!

I would think that even a fast growing 4 1/2month old corn would still be a little small for a 10 gal... how long is he/she? I would say around 18in then move them to a 10gal...

How long is your corn Crib? Mine in 16" and she lives quite happily in a plastic shoebox. A 2' corn would just barely fit well in a 10 gallon. A full sized corn goes in a 20-30 gallon nicely

my 4 1/2 month old snow corn is 13 1/2 inches long (i just measured it) kinda small i think, that measurment may not be exactly correct but close. thanks guys.
