Big Cheese Rodents!

Bug22baby

Snakes and more Snakes
I just wanted to share with everyone who debates which rodent company to go with. I usually only order from Rodentpro. This time because I was splitting a order I used Big Cheese, and WOW they earned a new customer! To start I saved like 3 dollars more which isnt much, but all the mice are packaged in 25's and vacume packed. The size of the adult mice are much larger then rodentpros. And not to mention I recieved my entire order a day early. I also had a quantity discount to make up for a lower price, generally rodentpro is the cheaper option. Especially when ordering rats! I give them a thumbs up for anyone intrested in dealing with them! Oh and all my snakes ate them without hesitation!

How so? I just looked online and BigCheese is still more expensive than RodentPro. Did you get some special deal or something?

Big Cheese allows you to combine rats and mice to get a volume discount where as RodentPro you have to get 500 mice OR rats to get a discount.

That's fine and dandy, but Big Cheese is still more expensive.

If you order a combo of 400 rat pups and pinks from Rodent Pro, you're going to be paying $.29 for the pinks, and $.39 for the pups. Say 200 of each, and you're looking at an order cost of $136.

If you make that same order at Big Cheese comes out to be $184.

I fail to see how anyone could save money---and I've heard the Big Cheese is better, which is why I'm asking. I'd rather order from them, but not if it's going to cost me an extra $50.

Ditto here, I'd love to order from them, but you can only order 100's and I need 50's of some sizes. And they don't have peach fuzzies which is the perfect size for a step up from pinkies. :shrugs:

Well for me I split a order, so if I had just ordered through rodentpro it would of cost me more because I would of ordered alone, since the person I split with didnt want rodentpro. I usually order through rodentpro because bigchesse rats are more expensive. But I think I am sold on Bigchesse now because of how good the product is. The mice are bigger then rodentpros and they have all there limbs attached, which with rodentpro I would recieve bags with hundreds of little feet broken off and tails and ears all piled up in the bottoem of the bag. Shipping with BigChesse is twice as much also so they are not usually the cheaper option. But Quality is much better and packaged in 25s instead of 50's or 100's. Either way you go, snakes dont seem to care, just personal preference.

i just switched over from rodentpro to big cheese and am completely satisfied. i never had a problem with rodentpro though. i do like that big cheese uses fedex overnight- it's been really hot here and i didn't wanna take a chance on the 2 day dhl thing and end up with thawed rodents. i also like big cheese's packaging better. either way, rodentpro or big cheese, beats paying $1 per pinky or fuzzy and $1.49 per adults at the pet shop.
